Ocean Videos

Here they are! We spent almost two weeks learning about the negative effects that humans have had on our oceans.  This is what Social Studies is all about - the human imprint and interactions on our world.  We studied the social interactions of humans in the ocean environment.  We were split into groups and did research using the Super 3 method of skimming articles online and using library books to study these effects.  We answered three big questions:

What is it?

How does it happen?

What can I do to help?

Finally we looked at some interesting facts that came up along the way! Enjoy the videos which are designed to show quick snippets of learning so that we could move on and transfer that to our summative assessment of creating a Google Map to show all of our learning.  These maps will be shared soon on the blog.
