Where are Mr. G's 3s from?

We started out Social Studies Unit on Oceans and Continents today by looking at a Google Map and talking about where we come from.  This was a nice way for the students to see how multicultural our class community is and to think about the idea of where we come from.  Sometimes it is hard to pin point one place that we call our home or our origin.  Nevertheless, take a look at the map below and have a look at the wonderful countries that we call home.
