Welcome to our Class Blog!

I use this blog to share learning with anyone that wants to have a window into what we are doing in class.  This will be a great place for parents to see what we are working on.  In addition to sharing with my students families, I love to connect our learning with other classes around the globe and we have many projects throughout the year that involve our classroom blog. Please feel free to share the blog link with families overseas and with anyone that might be interested in what is happening in our classroom.

What can I find on the blog?

Under "Timetable" you can find our daily schedule and this will be helpful for knowing what your child is doing each day.

Under "Links to Learning Sites" you can find valuable resources and links that we use in our units throughout the day.  Many of these can be used outside of class and sometimes they will be part of our homework program.

Under "Specialist Blogs" you can find links to your child's other teachers' blogs.  All of these blogs are updated regularly and can provide a window into their specialist classes.

Under "Blogging Tips" you can find information on how to leave a comment and how we will be using this feature throughout the year. Commenting is a great way to engage with us as a class and we will be looking at these regularly.

Under "Important Information" I will be posting notices and important information that come from the office or other areas of the school.  You will not get notifications of these so it is important to check this page regularly.

Under "Calendar" you will see a live calendar that will be updated with classroom events, school events and things that will be important for you to know about.

Finally, please SUBSCRIBE to blog updates on the left hand sidebar as each time I post on the blog you will get an email notifying you to take a look.
