Hour of Code

Throughout this week, students all around the world are coding! This is, essentially, the early stages of computer science.  How exciting!  It is called "The Hour of Code"

There are tons of resources out there for coding with kids.

Check these sites out for some great tutorials and programs that kids can play around with. Don't forget to look at the code language when finished. Just like learning any language, it is frustrating at first, but once they get the hang of it, the opportunities are endless.
