Deepivali!

This morning we were treated to a wonderful Deepivali celebration put on by three of our mothers.

A big thanks to Priti (Davin's Mom), Aditi (Advay's Mom) & Sonia (Pradniya's mom)!

First, we watched a story that Advay's mom introduced to us about this festival of lights! See below:




Then we had a short quiz to see how we did - we got 100 %!

Then, Davin's mom prepared a wonderful Rangoli activity that we worked on in our four table groups.

These cultural holidays are so important for us to understand and appreciate and it is what makes MKIS a very special place to learn and work in.  Please enjoy the photos below (courtesy of Priti).
